Hey to all the angry monkey fans and supporters out there
Sorry its been a while since my last update. Things out here in the Heartland have been hectic. But I have some new Koi pieces to add here in the near future. After that, the Koi series will be set aside for a little while. It is by no means ending, just taking a break from fish for a while. I think I'm a little burnt out on doing them.
I will be working on the Immortal childhood series mainly right now. I hope to have that series finished by end of the year. In addition I am starting a whole new series in that video game area. This one is going to be a pretty epic and engrossing series.
I had the idea of doing a biological field journal told from the perspective of a victorian biologist who has somehow ended up in the Mario world. Similar to the vein of Dinotopia in this aspect. I hope to tell a wonderful story of a decent into madness by juxtaposing the Russian Communist revolution against the backdrop of this classic video game. In addition to the field journal and story. I am hoping to do Illustrations based on the field sketches and sculptures as "biological specimens". I have just about finished the first page, and description of the Goomba. Which i hope to have posted later in the next few weeks. I will probably be posting this field journal page by page, and wait to reveal the sculptures and illustrations later for the grand opening of the show. Here's hoping I can make good on this idea.
Thanks to everyone for the support, and feedback. I hope to continue to impress and exceed your expectations.
.....end of line.

Hey fellow deviants
I know its been a while since I updated everyone, so here goes nothing
The angry monkey has been moved. He is now living in Iowa, thanks to finding a new job.
So people in the Midwest who haven't had the chance to see my work in person, LOOK OUT!. I am already booking shows and locations for the Koi series for 2011.
In addition I am still continuing on the Koi series. I should have a few more posted on here soon.
I am also getting back into my sculpture roots. I am working on new pieces and props for fun, and as soon as I get them done I will be posting them on here as well. For a teaser, think Cryptozoology in Vict
Breaking news! THE ANGRY MONKEY IS STILL ALIVE
sorry its been a while since I've posted anything. You know how the old saying goes, "sometimes life gets in the way". Well that's been what i've been living for a while. Between the fairly decent depression, emotional breakdown, lack of work, and general malaise lately I just haven't found the time to work. Which is really sad considering that my work is really what lifts me up, and makes me feel better about a bad situation. But I think the worst is behind me now.( or at least I hope).
In other news, Round Three of the Koi show is up now. Despite a slight delay caused by another artist in my hanging of it. It can be seen at Cup A Joe, in M
ROUND 2! Ding Ding Ding
well folks my second showing to the Koi series goes up on Tuesday. I'm both nervous and excited. Its going up at Coffee and Crepes in Cary NC, with a reception on May 28th, from 6-9pm. I'm a little bummed because I won't have the space to show all of it. But this have given me the opportunity to debut some new pieces at this show. So I will be showing 4 from the original 30, and 4 brand new never before seen or posted. For those of you who can make it out I would LOVE to see you, and for those of you who are unable to come because of time or distance I am still very grateful for all the support you give to me and my work.
On another note, I
